Coach Nick’s “The 10.0 Mindset”

Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my website; I’m genuinely glad that you’re here. If you didn’t guess by now, my name is Coach Nick, and I run this website and my brand-new podcast, “The 10.0 Mindset.” My only goal is to help create happier, healthier gymnasts through education and compassion.

Throughout this website and my podcast, we’ll talk about topics related to mental and emotional skills that directly contribute to gymnastics performance, sports performance in general, and overall athlete happiness. We do this through educating gymnasts and coaches about topics like self-compassion, confidence, athlete fear and safety. I strongly believe that his component of gymnastics is often overlooked, and can create long-term issues for the athlete.

A Quick Overview

I believe that gymnastics (and most other sports, as well) are part physical, and part mental/emotional. Too often, we see coaches who neglect the mental component of being and athlete, as well as the emotional component of being a human being, and only work to improve physical strength and athletic ability.

Our philosophy is that a happy, self-confident athlete with healthy thought patterns and strong coping skills performs better and for longer than an athlete who doesn’t work to improve their mental skills. We coach and mentor athletes holistically, realizing that there is more to life than sports.
